The Middle of Nowhere
What is in the middle of nowhere?
The answer is indisputable, and not based on some philosophy.
Discussion
LOL at bughill for criticizing the grammar in this riddle, and then both misspelling his comment and forgetting the question mark – on top of being wrong because the use of these quotes is not a requirement, it’s a recommendation. Most textbooks say that you should do it, very few say that you must.
Additionally, the exact middle of nowhere would be a single point, which is by definition 1-dimensional. Therefore, nothing could be in the exact middle of nowhere.
I like the answer: nothing
Indisputable, no philosophy, and we don’t have to worry about quotation marks.
When I say nothing I mean nothing as in the lack of something, not the complete “nothing” like in The Neverending Story.
lol how long were you trying to figure this one out bughill? and likewise, if you’re going to be the grammer police… i think the word you were going for with “Hor” was “for”.
Actually, bughill, the topic is “at the campfire” and therefore this riddle is meant to be told orally. Even without the quotes it was very easy to guess the letter h. And while you’re being an English nazi, you failed to insert a question mark at the very end of your comment. Sorry, wrong.
thats a really good point
Sorry, wrong. English grammar requires that when referring to a word itself rather than the meaning of the word, the word must be enclosed in quotes. Hor “h” to be the answer the question must be:
What is in the middle of “nowhere”
