Q. What yes or no question can you not honestly answer ‘yes’ to?

A. Will the next word you say be ‘no’?

But there definitely is a question you can never answer “yes” to….. Are you dead?

Get it?! If you really are dead that you aren’t capable of saying “yes”. It’s impossible unless you believe in ghosts and you are really asking a ghost if they are dead.

“are you going to answer no to this question?” of course, you couldnt answer “no” either

what about “are you lying?” if you are lying, you will say no, but if you are telling the truth you will say no also.

I always answer “yes” if someone asks me if I’m sleeping, just for fun :)

Well I was taking “answer yes” as vocally answer “yes”, no nodding or writing. But even sleeping, there are people that can speak and respond at times.

Technically, there is no question you cannot answer with yes. It would make more sense to say “What is a question you can never honestly answer yes to?” Also, any question that has a definate answer (ie 3+3=?)cannot be solved with “yes.” You’ll have to clarify even more. “What yes or no question can you not honestly answer yes to?”

@denirogator: acutally, you can answer yes to that question, you just have to write the answer down (or nod your head)

Yes, lots of possible answers. Such as “Are you holding your breath right now?”

Good question. Just seems like there COULD be a lot of possible answers.
